My machine sticks on “checking credit” for 4 ½ minutes and then says “timeout pc”, what does that mean? (FAQ)

Timeout PC means the controller is waiting for a response from the computer. Power down the ACW and unplug the power supply that’s plugged into the electrical outlet, wait 30 seconds and power everything back up. Wait about 1 minute and try another credit card transaction. If problem continues, contact Hamilton’s credit card support.
